Social media has become an integral form of communication for our members and leadership. It can be an invaluable tool to connect with peers, share information, seek, and give feedback. However, all of that comes with several cautions.
Local 2002 understands that social media can be an enjoyable and rewarding way to share elements of your life and opinions with family, friends, co-workers and even strangers around the world. However, the use of social media also presents certain risks and carries with it certain responsibilities.
To assist you in making responsible decisions about your use of social media, and avoid the pitfalls, we have established these guidelines for appropriate use of social media.
