ORNGE Zoom Ratification Meetings and Electronic Voting – Friday, April 23, 2021

As you are aware, a tentative agreement was reached with Unifor and the Company on April 9, 2021. The Ornge Bargaining Committee will be holding four ratification meetings on Friday, April 23, 2021.

Ornge Tentative Agreement Details:
Members will receive an electronic copy of the tentative agreement which will include the proposed changes that have been made to the collective agreement.  

• A copy of the tentative agreement will be emailed to the members on Thursday, April 22, at 0930 EST (24 hours before the first ratification meeting)
• Should you not receive an email with the documentation, we ask that you send an email to [email protected] to request a copy

Zoom Ratification Meetings
Four Zoom meetings have been scheduled for the Ornge membership for Friday, April 23, 2021.  The Bargaining Committee will outline and explain the changes in the tentative agreement and will any questions you may have.  Members are urged to attend a virtual meeting that is attached to their home base. For example, members located in Chatham, are asked to attend meetings of their home base.        Electronic Voting
Please watch for e-voting information in your email. Members will receive an Elector ID and Password to vote on the language agreement.  If you do not receive an email by 10:10 EST on April 23rd, please email [email protected] for assistance.  
   
The Bargaining Committee unanimously endorses this tentative agreement and recommends the Ornge members to vote “YES”.   On behalf of the entire Bargaining Team, we would like to thank members for their support during these negotiations.
