Your Bargaining Committee met with the company from June 23-25, 2026. There are still a number of important matters that require further discussion before an agreement can be reached.
The parties have agreed to extend conciliation while we work to secure additional bargaining dates and continue negotiations.
We also continue to await a hearing date from the Canada industrial Relations Board (CIRB) regarding the Maintenance of Activities application, which will determine our members’ right to strike.
The Bargaining Committee appreciates your continued patience, support, and solidarity throughout this process. We will continue to provide updates as additional information becomes available.
As a reminder, the bargaining process remains confidential for both parties. Committee members are not able to discuss specific details of negotiations outside of the bargaining process.
