Your Unifor Bargaining Committee met with the Company last week to continue collective bargaining talks on the non-monetary proposals presented by both parties. While we were able to make some progress, there are still a large number of key issues that remain unresolved which will require further negotiation.
Despite repeated efforts by your Unifor Bargaining Committee to secure earlier dates, the Company has advised that, due to scheduling challenges on their end, the next available dates at the bargaining table will not be until late October 2025.
As part of our continuing work, and advancing proposals for our Calgary Screening Officers, Unifor has also begun building connections with unions representing Paladin-employed Screening Officers at other airports in Pacific and Western Canada. This collaboration strengthens our collective voice and reinforces the solidarity needed to achieve real gains at the bargaining table.
We want to sincerely thank you for your continued support – both in the workplace and across social media platforms.
As we have shared in previous communications, we are limited in the amount of detail we can provide during active negotiations, but please know that we remain fully committed to advocating for the best interests of all members of District 266.
In Solidarity,
Your Unifor-PASS Bargaining Committee
