On January 16th, Unifor members at Perimeter Aviation participated in a union leadership meeting where the district’s Chairperson, Vice Chairpersons and Health & Safety Representatives were sworn into their elected positions.
Guest speakers in attendance were Unifor 2002 Health and Safety National Coordinator Sylvie Schmidt, Unifor 2002 Western Regional Vice President Jan Sills, and Unifor 2002 Assistant to the President Harold Bateman. The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by Unifor National Service Representative Carmen Ledarney.

The meeting not only served as an occasion to swear-in these Unifor representatives that took the oath of office, but also gave the team an opportunity to review and discuss important ongoing matters that pertain to the hard-working members at Perimeter Aviation. The Unifor team will continue to work on members’ behalf and ensure that workplace rights and benefits are respected each and every day. This is part of the Union’s mission and mandate.
