We are awaiting the vote details from Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) to be confirmed and we are hopeful it will occur this week. We anticipate there will be a seven-day voting period with an online vote, with the details to be sent to your work (@Perimeter) emails on how and when to vote. As soon as we have additional information, we will communicate it to you.
In order to continue to provide you with up to date information about the CIRB process as well as answer any questions you have about what will happen if Unifor is successful in the upcoming vote, we will be holding another information meeting this
Thursday, April 4th at the Courtyard by Marriott Winnipeg Airport.
The details are below but we are excited to announce that in addition to our district and local union leadership we will also have our Director responsible for Aviation, Joel Fournier and our Director of Organizing, Kellie Scanlan present.
Joel will provide an update and answer any questions regarding Unifor’s lobby efforts and actions in developing a legitimate Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) as well as our role in the safeskies.ca coalition. Kellie will provide the most up to date information regarding your representation vote and the CIRB process.
