Tentative Agreement Reached for Porter Airlines Customer Service Representatives

Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that late this evening Unifor Local 2002 reached a tentative agreement for our members at Porter Airlines - Customer Service Representatives group. The agreement was reached over two days of intense bargaining with the assistance of the Conciliator Brian Stevens, Unifor Local 2002, and the Company.

Bargaining for a new agreement began on April 18, 2022, and after seven sessions and multiple days of negotiations, the agreement was reached because of the dedication of the Porter Airlines members and the Bargaining Committee.  Details of the tentative agreement will be presented to the membership at a Ratification/Vote Meeting.

We are in the process of scheduling ratification meetings and will advise the members of the dates/locations/times of these meetings in the coming days. 

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TENTATIVE AGREEMENT INCLUDE:

• Increases to wages including retro payments
• Signing bonus
• Job security language
• New monthly transportation stipend
• Company paid time off per month for the Women’s Advocate position
• Company paid time off per month for a new Racial Justice Advocate position
• Improved language for benefit-cost sharing and shift scheduling
• New language for approval timelines related to shift trades and exchanges
