On Tuesday April 5th, your elected bargaining committee representatives, Paul Best and Carol Rodriguez, along with Pearl Almeida - Unifor National Representative, Charlotte Pape - Unifor Local 2002 Vice President, and Denise Cochrane - Assistant to the President Local 2002, met with the FBO membership at Billy Bishop Airport in Toronto.
The purpose of this important meeting was to discuss details of the upcoming bargaining process, and to provide a forum to hear what the priorities and mandates are from the membership as we head into negotiations.
NEXT STEPS
Notice to bargain will be served by the Unifor National office in the coming days. Once notice is served, dates will be secured for the union and employer to meet and begin collective bargaining.
We will keep you updated throughout the process, and will provide further information when appropriate to do so.
