Following ten months of negotiations, a tentative collective agreement has been reached between Unifor Local 2002 and Porter Airlines. The agreement was reached on February 21
st for our Ramp Members from District 361. Details of the agreement will remain confidential until the day of the ratification meetings (March 7, 2023). The previous collective agreement expired on April 26, 2022.
NEXT STEPS – IN-PERSON RATIFICATION MEETINGS:
The Bargaining Committee will be conducting in-person ratification meetings on
Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Members will have the opportunity to hear and see the details of the tentative agreement. The Bargaining Committee representatives will be present and available to discuss the details of the agreement. Following the ratification meetings, members will be asked to vote on the tentative agreement.
We are finalizing the times and locations for the ratification meetings which will be communicated to members in the coming days.
