Propair, District 421: Update on wage increase

It has been brought to the Union’s attention that the Company is not complying with the collective agreement regarding wage increases as well as compensation for service calls for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs). These increases should have taken effect October 1, 2015 following ratification of the new collective agreement.

After trying to resolve the issue with informal discussions, the Union and the Company were unable to come to an agreement.

The Union will be filing a collective grievance. As per article 20 of the collective agreement, if both parties still cannot come to an understanding following a grievance hearing, the Union can take the grievance to arbitration.
