Today, December 18, 2024, we met virtually with the Company to review their latest monetary offer. While we appreciate the Company taking the time to engage in discussions, we must express that their offer is significantly below what our members at Samsic Vancouver rightfully deserve. It is clear that the Company’s proposal does not reflect the hard work and dedication of our members.
We want to assure you that the bargaining committee is fully united in our commitment to securing a fair and equitable agreement. We will be carefully reviewing this offer and strategizing our next steps. The parties have agreed to meet in person in mid-January to continue our wage negotiations and work toward a resolution that meets the needs of all our members.
Your continued patience and support are critical as we navigate this process. Please know that we are working tirelessly to secure the best possible outcome for you—our valued members.
