As a follow up to our last communication, final submissions relating to the Maintenance of Activities Agreement were provided to the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB). The process was completed on October 11, 2022.
The Employer has requested an Oral Hearing on the matter and we are waiting for a decision by the CIRB on whether it will grant a hearing or dismiss SkyLink’s application for the Maintenance of Activities Agreement.
Once the CIRB has done this, your Unifor Bargaining Committee will provide a follow-up communication with the results and provide information on next steps.
Your patience and solidarity throughout this process is very much appreciated by your Unifor team, as is your continued support as we work through achieving a first collective agreement.
