We would like to provide you with an update on the recent Union-Company negotiations that took place on August 23rd and 24th. These sessions were crucial as we worked towards addressing both non-monetary and monetary proposals that have a significant impact on your collective agreement.
NON-MONETARY PROPOSALS:
We are pleased to share that substantial progress has been made in resolving many of the non-monetary proposals. These discussions have been productive, and we have finalized these items. Your Bargaining Committee is committed to ensuring that your concerns and needs are at the forefront of these negotiations.
MONETARY PROPOSALS:
During the negotiation sessions, we started discussions on the monetary proposals that were compiled from the surveys and proposal meetings that many of you participated in. While we cannot go into specific details due to the confidentiality of the process, rest assured that we are focused on securing favourable terms that reflect your dedication and hard work.
NEXT STEPS:
Our next round of negotiations is scheduled for mid-September. During this phase, we will continue our discussions with the Company regarding the monetary proposals. Our aim is to secure a collective agreement that brings tangible benefits to each member of our union. While we understand your curiosity for more information, we must respect the confidentiality of the negotiations at this juncture.
