Following the ratification meetings held this evening, Unifor Local 2002 announces that our members at Swissport Vancouver have voted to reject their three-year tentative agreement by a
65 percent margin. As a result of the non-acceptance of the tentative agreement, Unifor will be filing for conciliation next week (July 14, 2025).
Negotiations began in February 2025, with representatives from Unifor Local 2002 and Swissport engaging in several constructive bargaining sessions. Both parties reached a tentative agreement on June 11, 2025
