Following the in-person ratification meetings, on August 22, 2022, in Vancouver, the Bargaining Committee wishes to announce that Unifor Local 2002 members employed at Swissport Vancouver, have rejected the tentative agreement that was reached on August 18, 2022.
The agreement was rejected by a
54 percent margin, despite the Union’s recommendation of acceptance.
We will advise the members of our next steps in the coming days. The Bargaining Committee would like to thank the membership for their support, for taking part in the ratification meetings, and for those that voted on the agreement.
