Collective bargaining talks formally opened in
Montreal last week between Unifor and Aeroplan. The one-day meeting consisted of
both parties exchanging non-monetary proposals and also allowed the committees
to review future meetings dates.
The Unifor bargaining committee would like to
acknowledge the support and encouragement of the membership who carried out
successful solidarity events in both Vancouver and Montreal last week. As we
continue with the bargaining process, a strong and unified membership will be
paramount to our success at the bargaining table.
