The Aeroplan bargaining committee would like to thank the hundreds of members in Montreal and Vancouver who took the time to submit bargaining surveys by the July 6, 2012 deadline. Participation and feedback at every stage of the bargaining process is vital in order to achieve a contract that accurately reflects the desires and priorities of the membership.
The bargaining committee will present the results of the surveys at proposal meetings on September 4 and 6, 2012. (For further details please see below). These meetings are an important opportunity for Aeroplan members to discuss, debate and vote on proposals. Members are also invited to bring forward any agenda items that may not have been previously submitted.
Once the meetings are completed, the committee will compile priorities and formulate a bargaining mandate which the union will submit to the company when negotiations commence.
