As of today Friday, January 24, 2020, the Bargaining Committee continues to meet and assess the feedback provided from the Leadership at the meeting held in Toronto on January 22, 2020, in regard to the tentative agreement reached between Unifor and Air Canada on January 15, 2020.
While we are still officially in the conciliation period, we have informed the Conciliator of the recent events. At this point in time, this is the information we have, we will ensure to communicate further details to the membership once it becomes available.
TENTATIVE AGREEMENT – WAGE SCALES
In the interim, we are aware that the tentative agreement highlights sheets have been circulating and have created a lot of confusion among the membership. To alleviate this confusion, we have reworked and simplified the wage scale so that all members may have a better understanding of the wage increases.
This simplified chart will provide the members with the opportunity to plot their progression for the duration of the collective agreement. Click here to view.
