We opened bargaining on April 21
st. We had four productive days where our and the company’s non-monetary proposals were exchanged and discussed.
As we can all understand, with 10 long years passed, there are a tremendous number of outstanding items, issues needing to be addressed, and required updates.
Regarding the proposals, both sides have come in on opposite ends as expected, however, there have been some very constructive discussions, and we are optimistic that we will be able to build on this positive momentum going forward. The next meeting with the company is pencilled in for mid-late May. At this point, only non-monetary items have been discussed.
