Thank you everyone for your continued professionalism throughout this process. Please continue to uphold our collective agreement.
Bargaining Update
We met with the company over the last few weeks, and to date we are still far apart in regards to what we believe is fair and just for the membership moving forward in regards to our non-economic proposals.
Although our non-economic discussions are still in progress, we have presented our economic proposals to the company. Items such as benefits, pensions, and monetary compensation. Perhaps non-economic differences can become more palatable when there’s some numbers attached to them.
We now eagerly await the company’s responses to our proposals, and look forward to our next meeting dates as they quickly approach.

Highlights
Bargaining Message
The bargaining process is playing out to be a rather lengthy one. Do not despair—remain united, and keep in mind the following:
- We have had no contractual improvements in 10 years.
- We have had no monetary gains in 10 years.
- We have been falling behind inflation for 10 years.
- We have been getting forced additional hours for 10 years.
- We’ve endured unpredictable working hours & conditions for 10 years.
- Our roles and responsibilities have increased year over year for 10 years.
It may be a longer process than anticpated, as we do not intend to settle for less.
