A Word from the President
"This collective agreement is a testament to the dedication our members bring to Air Canada every single day. Our In-Flight Crew Scheduling team serves as the true backbone of airline operations, and I am incredibly proud of how our members stood together to secure a contract that recognizes their worth, their expertise, and the critical nature of the work they perform around the clock, said Tammy Moore, President, Unifor Local 2002.”
The Vital Role of Our Members
It is important to acknowledge the essential nature of the work this dedicated team performs. Our Air Canada In-flight Crew Scheduling members manage and oversee the daily flight crew schedules for flight attendants, ensuring that all flights are properly crewed to maintain safe and efficient operations. Furthermore, they are responsible for booking deadhead travel, hotels, and ground transportation for deadheading crews, ensuring seamless coordination behind the scenes at every turn.
This agreement is a huge win for our members and serves as a testament to what we can achieve when we stand together. Thank you to everyone who participated in the voting process and supported the committee throughout these negotiations.
