The Executive Board of Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that Members from Airport Terminal Services (ATS) Moncton have joined Unifor Local 2002. On September 7th, 2017, the Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) issued a certificate certifying Unifor as the official Bargaining Agent.
We are proud to welcome our new members from ATS Moncton District - 540, who perform airline-related jobs including Customer Service, Cargo Operations, Baggage Handling, Aircraft Fuelers and Aircraft Maintenance. Thank you for choosing Unifor to be your source of collective strength and solidarity.
At this time, we would like to inform you on what you can expect in the coming months:
- Elections for Bargaining Committee: An election will occur to form your Bargaining Committee. These elections are planned for December 2017.
- Bargaining the first Collective Agreement: Negotiations will begin for your first collective agreement in the coming months.
Mike MacMullin, Unifor National Staff Representative,
Theresa Amicarelli, Assistant to Local 2002 President, and
Gilles Goguen, Executive Vice President, will be working with you to ensure that this transition is as seamless as possible. They will also be available to answer any questions and assist with any concerns that may arise.
