CLS Catering Vancouver: Members Reject Company’s “Last Offer”

May 16, 2019 at 9:59 PM

On Wednesday, May 15th and Thursday, May 16th,  the British Columbia Labour Board under Section 78 conducted a vote on the “Last Offer” which was made by the Employer on May 7th, 2019. The membership overwhelmingly said no to the “Last Offer”, 87% rejected the Employer’s “Last Offer”.

What happens next?

The Union will contact the Employer to schedule additional dates and resume discussions. The objective is to reach a tentative agreement that is fair and equitable for everyone. Once an agreement has been reached, the Union will schedule ratification meetings.

At these meetings, your Committee will present the agreement to the membership, and answer your questions so members can make an informed decision when they cast their vote.

The Bargaining Committee would like to thank the members for their attendance and participation.  Further details will be communicated to all members in the coming week.
