Cargo Airport Services Canada: Negotiations update from Unifor

Cargo Airport Services Canada: Negotiations update from Unifor

December 6, 2024 at 8:45 AM

Your Union met with the Employer on December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. To date, negotiations have been positive and Unifor has been able to agree to the majority of the non-monetary proposals presented by CAS.

The parties have also started to discuss monetary proposals. The Employer is reviewing the Union's monetary package and is hoping to get back to us in a couple of days.

The parties have agreed to meet again virtually within the next two weeks to continue discussions.

As negotiations progress, your involvement and attention is strongly encouraged. Your Unifor bargaining committee is committed to obtaining a fair deal with competitive wages for all of our members at Cargo Airport Services Canada (CAS).

In Solidarity,

Your Unifor Bargaining Committee
Livius Fernandes, Bargaining representatives
Josée Genois, Assistant to the Local 2002 President
Frances Galambosy, Unifor National Representative
