Following ratification meetings, held in Toronto and Montreal on March 13 and 14, 2019, Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that our members at Worldwide Flight Services have ratified their new three-year agreement.
Members
voted 100 percent in favor of the new agreement. The agreement, which expires on December 31
st, 2021, includes wage increases in each year of the collective agreement.
“
This agreement brings our members wage increases totaling 7.5 percent over the life of the collective agreement. The success of these negotiations is a testament to the work of the Bargaining Committee and to the strength and solidarity of our membership”, said Euila Leonard, President of Unifor Local 2002.
This round of bargaining included the participation of a Federal Conciliation Officer and was supported with an 81 percent strike mandate from the membership.
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- wage increases in each year of the collective agreement are: 2.5%-2019, 2.5%-2020, and 2.5%- 2021
- increases in shift premiums
- new Premiums for DA Licence
