Update: Negotiations with EVAS
Since the last update, the Bargaining Committee met with the Company for the first time on January 8 and 9, 2019, this two-day meeting consisted of the Union presenting the Company with our bargaining proposals.  Of those proposals that we presented, the majority dealt with new contract language that the Union would like negotiated into the new agreement, this includes improved flying schedules and overtime compensation.

Although we have not yet finalized any contract language, both parties have agreed that these issues will be a top priority at our next round of talks.

Next Round of Talks
Our next dates for negotiations with the Company are scheduled for February 5-7, 2019, in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador.
