EVAS Members: Notice of Meeting and Strike Vote

A reminder to the membership, a strike vote meeting will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the Quality Suites Hotel, in Gander, NL from 19:00-22:00 pm NDT.  This is an important meeting and all members are encouraged to attend. Your Bargaining Committee will provide the members on the status of the negotiations, outline the strike vote process, and answer any questions/concerns you may have.

For those members who are unable to attend in person, you can join the meeting via teleconference on April 11, 2019.

Please note: we will email you (via e-news) the teleconference number, password and security details in the coming days.

Electronic Voting

• Electronic voting will open at 21:00 p.m. NDT on April 11, 2019. Members will have until April 12, 2019, at 12:00 noon NDT to cast your vote.  
• On April 5, 2019, members will be emailed the particulars for electronic voting which includes a Elector ID and Password
• If you have lost your Elector ID or Password, please contact Sharon Low at [email protected] or by phone at 778 996 1344
• Please ensure you monitor your email in the coming weeks to ensure you receive all of the necessary information to participate in this important vote

We cannot stress enough the importance of every member participating in this meeting. Your Bargaining Committee is unanimously asking the members to vote “YES” to strike action. Solidarity is vital to our success.
