We regret to inform you that Unifor was notified yesterday, June 18, 2025, by Jazz Aviation of the planned closure of the Calgary STOC Classification base effective September 2025.
Following Air Canada’s recent announcement that long-term flying activity in Calgary will not resume, Jazz Aviation has reviewed its operational plan and decided to consolidate its Calgary STOC operation into the Vancouver STOC for business efficiencies.
Jazz Aviation will cease operations at the
Calgary STOC Centre at midnight on September 7, 2025, with the transition to Vancouver STOC Centre beginning September 8
th, 2025.
