Unifor reaches new tentative agreement with Jazz CSA/ACS

November 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM

Unifor is pleased to announce that late on Friday, your Bargaining Committee reached a new tentative agreement with Jazz Aviation’s Customer and Aircraft Services group. The agreement is subject to a ratification vote by the membership.

The current contract expired on January 14, 2022, but remains in effect until a new contract is accepted by the membership.

Your Unifor Bargaining Committee and the Employer met for three days of conciliation in Toronto – November 2, 3, and 4 – and with the assistance of the Conciliation Officer, finally reached a new deal. The Committee pushed hard for a fair contract that the membership can accept. Unifor and Jazz have been in negotiations working diligently to obtain a new collective bargaining agreement for the members after the previous tentative agreement was rejected.

Unifor Local 2002 will be conducting ratification meetings and subsequent vote via Zoom video conference. Details and the full schedule will be released shortly.

The bargaining committee would like to thank the membership at this time for their continued show of unity and support.

In Solidarity,
