Unifor to open negotiations with Jazz Aviation on May 5th

April 26, 2022 at 9:00 AM

Your Unifor/Jazz CSA-ACS Bargaining Committee will be meeting with the employer in Toronto on May 5 and 6 to exchange proposals and officially begin bargaining a new collective agreement.

The current contract expired on January 14, 2022.

After surveying the membership in autumn of 2021, the Unifor Committee conducted an extensive cross-Canada proposal tour that began in December, and concluded in February 2022. The intent of this rigorous tour was to meet with as many Unifor members in all locations, and review key components of what will be negotiated in the next contract.

After more than fifty in-person and virtual meetings, the Committee was pleased with the response from the membership and the participation from all those that attended.

As active bargaining begins, the Committee will keep the membership updated via the Unifor 2002 website (unifor2002.org), and also by means of email communications. If you have not already done so, please subscribe to this service via the following link.

Please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned should you have any questions or concerns.
