Unifor Local 2002 proudly stands with our sisters, brothers, and friends at CUPE – Air Canada Component, as they continue their fight for a fair contract.
Flight attendants have made it clear—their top issue is fair compensation. For far too long, these dedicated aviation professionals have been expected to work without pay for significant portions of their duties. This is unacceptable in any workplace, and it’s why CUPE has been pushing back through its Unpaid Work Won’t Fly campaign since December 2024.
Air Canada flight attendants deserve wages that reflect the critical role they play in keeping passengers safe and comfortable, and they deserve to be paid for all the work they do – both in the air and on the ground.
Unifor Local 2002 supports their call for an agreement that ends unpaid work, improves working conditions, and recognizes the professionalism and dedication that flight attendants bring to our industry every single day.
Solidarity is our greatest strength – and we will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with CUPE members until they achieve the fair deal they deserve.
