Unifor reaches Tentative Agreement with Nasittuq Corporation

Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that a Tentative Agreement has been reached with Nasittuq Corporation. Members provide site support and management services at CFS Alert on the northern tip of Ellesmere Island, Nunavut.

A ratification meeting and vote will be held on Monday, November 15 at 1900 Eastern Time.

This meeting will be held via Zoom video conference call where the Tentative Agreement and highlights will be presented to members. Documents will also be sent to members via personal email just prior to the meeting on November 15. All members are strongly encouraged to attend this important Zoom meeting.

Information required to vote will be sent to all members on the day of the ratification meeting. Please be sure to add [email protected] to your contacts list to lessen the chance of this information being delivered to your trash or junk mailbox.

Throughout this lengthy and difficult round of negotiations your bargaining committee has stood their ground and continued to push for improvements based on the mandate of the membership.

This Tentative Agreement is unanimously being recommended by your Unifor Bargaining Committee.
