Dear Part-Time members at Nuance, Toronto Airport
We would like to take this opportunity to update you on the progress of contract talks between the union and employer.
Unifor has reached out to Nuance's management team on several occasions to secure bargaining dates in order to begin negotiating your first collective bargaining agreement. However, due to scheduling conflicts and summer timetables, the parties have not been able to secure dates that align. We are committed to ensuring that this process begins without delay, and we will continue to follow up with the employer until meeting dates can be confirmed.
With the success of negotiating a first contract for the Full-Time members in June 2025, Unifor is optimistic that once negotiations begin, we will be able to work toward securing a fair and respectful bargaining agreement – one that reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment that you all display each and every day.
We understand that collective bargaining is a critical moment, and that improvements to workplace conditions, wages, and job security are important to everyone. During active bargaining, updates will be communicated via official Unifor Local 2002 channels – the Unifor Local 2002 website and e-news.
