Nuance Group D335: Important message to Estée Lauder Beauty Advisor Members

January 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM

After several months of discussions, Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached between Nuance and the vendor to transition Estée Lauder Beauty Advisors from Corporate to Branded positions.

Once implemented, Estée Lauder Beauty Advisors will receive a 3% commission on personal sales for their primary assigned brand. In addition, a 1.5% commission will apply to other personal sales within the Estée Lauder brands.

Each existing Estée Lauder Beauty Advisor will be offered their pre-COVID brand assignment as of March 2020. Any movement within brands will be determined based on available positions and Estée Lauder brand seniority.

This transition will also result in additional positions within the Estée Lauder Beauty Advisor classification. Members will have the opportunity to apply for these new positions in accordance with the transfer language outlined in the new Unifor Collective Agreement.

The tentative implementation date for this transition is targeted for March 1, 2026, with a possible rollout period of up to six months to reach the full complement of Estée Lauder Beauty Advisors.

Further details and timelines will be shared as they become available. Should you have any questions, please reach out to your District Chairperson, Katie Makhlouf.

In solidarity,

Katie Makhlouf, Unifor Local 2002, District Chairperson D355
