Today, your Unifor District 335 Bargaining Committee officially began negotiations with Nuance for the first Unifor Collective Agreement. Local 2002 President Tammy Moore joined the committee to mark the start of this significant milestone.
The bargaining committee has worked diligently in preparation for this round of collective bargaining. During earlier planning sessions, the committee was officially sworn in by Frances Galambosy, Unifor National Service Representative. Each committee member has pledged to uphold strict confidentiality throughout the bargaining process.
We remind all members that any rumors regarding negotiations that may arise during this period do not originate from the Unifor committee and should not be considered credible. Accurate information will only be shared via official Unifor Local 2002 communications and during ratification meetings (after a tentative agreement has been reached).
Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that Katie Makhlouf has been selected as Chairperson of the District 335 Bargaining Committee.
Please remember that only the elected bargaining committee members are authorized to speak on behalf of the Union. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to Katie directly.
The bargaining committee appreciates the trust you have placed in the elected leadership. Unifor is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for the membership at the bargaining table.
