Part-Time Members at Nuance Toronto Ratify First Contract

Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that Part-Time members at Nuance Toronto Airport have overwhelmingly ratified their first collective agreement by 100 percent.

The newly ratified agreement lays the foundation for improved working conditions, fair compensation, and a stronger voice in the workplace.

Highlights of the new contract include:
  

  • Pay increases beginning March 30, 2026

  • Date of hire wage scale no longer accrued hours

  • Increased meal allowance

  • Improved status transfer

  • Increased transportation allowance

  • Probation period changed to 3 months for new employees

  • The full-time and part-time contracts will be merged into a single contract

"This strong endorsement reflects your resolve and solidarity that carried you through this important process. Your first agreement marks a significant milestone for you and your workplace, providing not only financial gains, but also improved working conditions and a more secure future."

Unifor represents more than 250 part-time members employed by Nuance at the Pearson International Airport and Warehouse. Nuance is part of Avolta AG – a global travel retailer with operations in 63 countries, including 200 airports.
