NOTICE OF WRITS FOR ELECTION
This notice is to advise all
members of CAW Local 2002 that in accordance with the Bylaws of CAW Local 2002,
an election will take place for the above captioned positions.
The term of office for all
elected officers of CAW Local 2002, except for the Bargaining Committee, is
three (3) years and begins on the first day of the month following the
election.(Bylaws, Article 4.1.06). Vacancies filled during the term of office
shall not exceed the original three (3) year term. (Bylaws, Article 4.1.08).
Any member in good standing may
run for election for the position by submitting a completed Nomination Form via
Fax or by Email [email protected] to be received by the deadline of October
18, 2012 to CAW Local 2002 Office, 5 - 7015 Tranmere Drive, Mississauga ON, L5S
1M2, Fax: (905) 678-0100 or 1-866-635-5956. All nominators or nominee MUST
confirm with the Local‘s office that the fax was received by calling (905)
678-1551 or 1-888-226-8885.
All candidates shall be able to
withdraw their nomination 72 hours prior to the ballots being printed (7 days
after close of nominations October 25, 2012 (as per Bylaws 4.1.13).
