Your Unifor Bargaining Committee met over the last two days to prepare for the next in-person negotiations meeting scheduled for May 12. This will be a one-day event for the parties with three additional bargaining dates confirmed for the week of June 22, 2026.
We want to be crystal clear with our membership: it was the company that reached out to us to return to the bargaining table.
It should be noted that the Conciliation deadline has been mutually extended until June 26, 2026. We are still diligently waiting for a date for the CIRB to hear the Maintenance of Activities application and to decide on your right to strike.
The bargaining committee is grateful for your continued support and patience, and we will share more information with you as it becomes available.
