PASS District 266: Unifor Bargaining Update

PASS District 266: Unifor Bargaining Update

November 28, 2025 at 4:00 PM

This is a brief membership update concerning contract negotiations.

Your Unifor Local 2002 District 266 bargaining committee met with the Company, along with the Federal Conciliator, to resume contract talks. Meetings took place over the course of three days – November 25, 26 and 27.

In the next step of the collective bargaining process, the Union and Employer did exchange monetary proposals this past week. Monetary proposals include any items that carry a financial impact, such as wage increases, breaks, shift scheduling, vacation, etc. With this exchange of documents, the parties have agreed to extend the 60-day conciliation period. Additional meeting dates have been confirmed for December 17 and 18 with the Employer and Conciliator.

Our goal remains unchanged: to reach a tentative Collective Agreement that can be presented to the membership for consideration through a ratification vote.

Further updates will be communicated via the Unifor Local 2002 website and e-news.
