Important Update for Perimeter Flight Attendants

Important Update for Perimeter Flight Attendants

October 4, 2021 at 6:00 PM

Your Unifor bargaining committee, along with Local 2002 President Tammy Moore, met with Mediator Steve Samosinski earlier today in Winnipeg, Manitoba where talks continue between the union and employer.

Perimeter Aviation, along with their lawyer, have responded to our previous proposal offer, and in turn we have responded back with a counter-offer. We are currently waiting for the employer to respond which will most likely not occur until tomorrow. At that point, we will provide an update.

For now, strike action has been postponed.

Unifor will have to provide 72-hours notice for a strike to occur, and we will make a decision tomorrow as to if/when a strike will occur based on the offer we receive from Perimeter Aviation.

As talks continue, we encourage all members to keep an eye on their emails. If you have not signed up for e-news, we encourage you to stay connected here. Unifor will issue a follow-up communication when more information is available.

In solidarity,

Your Unifor Bargaining Committee
Sarah Schmidt, Bargaining Committee Representative
Sharon Lavallee, Bargaining Committee Representative
Denise Cochrane, Assistant to the Local President
Tammy Moore, Unifor 2002 President
Carmen Ledarney, Unifor National Representative
