Contract negotiations between Unifor and Saint John Harbourfront Hotel officially opened on Monday April 20 2026. Opening talks went well and we look forward to working towards a strong collective agreement for the membership.
"Our members have shown up, day after day, with professionalism and dedication, and they deserve a contract that truly reflects that commitment," said Unifor Local 2002 President Tammy Moore. "A fair contract means fair wages that keep pace with the cost of living, meaningful improvements to working conditions, and protections that give our members the stability and dignity they have earned."
The transition from the Hilton Hotel brand to an independent operator brings with it both change and opportunity, and Local 2002 will continue to service members with the same professionalism we have for almost twenty years.
In order to maintain the integrity of the bargaining process, your Unifor committee is unable to discuss specific bargaining details with the membership. Please remember that any information concerning bargaining will come directly from the bargaining committee to you. Updates will be posted on the Local 2002 website (unifor2002.org) and communicated via e-news.
