Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that members at Saint John Harbourfront Hotel have ratified a new 3-year collective agreement by 81 percent.
"On behalf of Unifor Local 2002, I am proud to congratulate our members at the Saint John Harbourfront Hotel on the successful ratification of their new three-year collective agreement," said Tammy Moore, President of Unifor Local 2002. "This agreement delivers meaningful gains that recognizes the important work our members perform each and every day, contributing to the strength and success of their workplace. This is a strong step forward for our members and their families."
The new agreement will provide retroactive wage increases back to January 1, 2026, as well as pay increases through each year of the contract. It also includes improvements to probation and job posting language, the grievance procedure, leaves and time off, seniority and job protection.
Unifor members at Saint John Harbourfront Hotel are responsible for almost every aspect of hotel operations including engineering, front desk reception, housekeeping, kitchen functions and banquets at hotel.
