Swissport Vancouver Members: Save the Date - November 26th

Thanks for your patience as we navigate through the Federal Mediation process at the Labour Board.  We had agreed to extend the Conciliation process at the Labour Board in hopes that we would be able to achieve a Tentative agreement.   As of today, that has not happened. Because we agreed to extend this period, we will either need to bring you a Tentative agreement to vote on, or take another, last and final, strike vote.

If we take the strike vote and receive a strong mandate, we will be in the position to give 72 hours' strike notice effective December 02, meaning members could be on strike as early as December 5^th.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 26^th

Location: Vancouver Airport - Room 4106 (Domestic Terminal Building, 4^th floor)
Voting for either a Tentative Agreement or a strike will take place in person only. Attendance on November 26th is mandatory to cast your vote.

These crucial meetings will provide members with an opportunity to receive an update on the negotiations, ask questions, and ultimately give the bargaining committee a strong mandate when (and if) they return to the bargaining table.
