Unifor 2002 reaches Tentative Agreement with Swissport – Montreal

February 8, 2019 at 9:35 AM
A tentative agreement has been reached for Unifor Local 2002 Swissport – Montreal members. The agreement was reached early morning on February 7, 2019, after a lengthy and arduous bargaining process.  The agreement is subject to ratification by the membership.

Negotiations between Swissport Montreal and Unifor began in July 2018 and have been assisted by a Conciliator. Swissport is a subcontractor who currently employs more than 400 workers that service multiple airlines at the Pierre-Elliot-Trudeau Airport in Montreal.

Details of the agreement as well as the process for ratification (meetings dates, and location) will be forthcoming.  Your Bargaining Committee is recommending the agreement to our members.

The Bargaining Committee would like to thank the membership for their continued support. Please ensure that you have subscribed to Unifor 2002’s e-news at www.unifor2002.org.
