(Québec City) Aéroport de Québec. Our members are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the eleventh busiest airport in Canada. Members work in Quebec city at the Jean Lesage Airport. They perform a wide variety of assignments from office to Information Technology (IT), to Maintenance, Mechanics, and Customer Service.
Air Canada Customer Sales & Service agents (Concierge/Leads at Airports)
Our members perform in person, passenger sales, and service functions at Airports. Members disseminate information, process reservations, checking in of customers, provide operational leadership, issue tickets, and other related duties as required.
Air Canada Contact Centre
Our members make reservations for customers, process reservation messages, assemble reservations data, monitor social media channels, and other related duties.
Air Canada Customer Journey Management (CJM)
Our members perform flight editing, connection handling, and book hotels. They also ensure proactive and effective customer recovery during irregular operations. They support SOC (System Operations Centre), Airports, and Call Centres by coordinating and implementing customer recovery plans (rebooking, and compensation).
Air Canada Customer Relations
Our members respond to inquiries directed to the Customer Relations department at Air Canada. They sort and distribute customer correspondence. They authorize or amend reservations, determine appropriate payment of compensation, and perform other related duties.
(Toronto, Calgary, and Winnipeg) Our members in Toronto, Calgary, and Winnipeg have three different collective agreements, they provide Passenger Service, Ramp, and Maintenance services as contract workers for various airlines. Job functions include customer check-in, loading/unloading of cargo, processing of inbound and outbound shipments, baggage handling, marshaling of aircraft, warehouse, and other related duties.
(Toronto) Our members at A.S.P Security perform security-related functions at airport entrances throughout Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. Members provide terminal access control, door patrol, airside access, pass control, and security specialists.
(Montreal, Toronto) Our members perform cargo and warehouse work for various airlines. Cargo Airport Services Canada Inc. (WFS) is one of the world’s leading providers of ground handling services, serving over 300 airlines at airports on five continents.
(Vancouver) Our members provide in-flight food catering for a number of airlines operating from Vancouver International Airport including Korean Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Lufthansa. Members also prepare and package takeout food items for the Starbucks coffee chain.
(Halifax, Gander) Our members are pilots at EVAS Air Charters, operating as an Express Carrier on behalf of Air Canada. EVAS operates scheduled flights throughout Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island utilizing a fleet of Beechcraft aircraft.
(Calgary) Our highly-trained Screening Officers members at GardaWorld Calgary provide security services at the Calgary International Airport. These members are specialized professionals tasked with protecting air travelers by screening them and their belongings while demonstrating the highest degree of vigilance. They provide excellent customer service to passengers and stakeholders alike in a professional manner.
GREATER TORONTO AIRPORTS AUTHORITY
(Toronto) Our members are responsible for the day to day operations of the largest airport in Canada. Performing a wide variety of assignments from baggage system operators, engineers, clerical and deicing coordinators to facility technicians. Unifor is the exclusive bargaining agent for all employees of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority at Toronto Pearson International Airport.
(Saint John) Our members are responsible for almost every aspect of hotel operation including engineering, front desk reception, housekeeping, kitchen functions and banquets at the Saint John Hilton Hotel and Convention Center.
JAZZ TECHNICAL SERVICES
(Halifax) Our technical service members are employed in Halifax performing heavy maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft to third parties including Jazz Aviation and Air Georgian. Jazz Technical Services/JTS is a division of Jazz Aviation L.P.
(Alert, Ellesmere Island, Nunavut) Our members supply a complete range of support services to Canada’s Department of National Defense including facilities maintenance, airfield operations, food services and transport, logistical and administrative support at CFS Alert. Nunavut is located approximately 817 km from the North Pole.
(Ontario) Our members are paramedics responsible for patient care and medical transfers. Ornge operates the largest and most sophisticated program of aero-medical transport in North America. Members provide care to patients in both fixed-wing aircraft and ground ambulances.
(Winnipeg) Flight Attendants at Perimeter are ambassadors of safety and customer service onboard. Perimeter provides scheduled passenger, charter and medevac service to remote communities throughout Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.
(Toronto) Our members at Pivot Airlines (formerly Air Georgian) perform crew scheduling, flight dispatching, aircraft maintenance and clerical functions. Pivot Airlines is a Canadian charter airline founded in 2020 after purchasing the assets of Air Georgian. The airline's Canadian air operator certificate allows for the operation of CRJ-100 series aircraft under subpart 705 of the Canadian Aviation Regulations.
(Rouyn-Noranda, Montreal) Our members include nurses, pilots, maintenance technicians, and ground personnel servicing mostly Northern Quebec. The company is a leader in charter transportation for passengers, air cargo, and is the primary provider of aeromedical evacuations in parts of Quebec and Ontario.
Our members are pilots at SkyLink Express Canada's largest regional air cargo operator specializing in courier feeder operations and time-sensitive, cost effective, air cargo charters throughout North America. SkyLink Express operates a fleet of 16 well-maintained 208B and 1900C all-cargo aircraft on hundreds of weekly departures throughout North America with facilities in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Mississauga, Montreal-Mirabel, and Quebec City.
(Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver) Unifor Local 2002 represents three separate bargaining units and provides passenger ground handling services in the aviation industry. Swissport also provides service to chartered and scheduled airlines.
(Nanaimo) Our members work at the Nanaimo Airport and provide Above and Below Wing services which include Aircraft grooming, Passenger, and Cargo Handling. United Ramp Incorporated is an aviation ground service provider operating at airports throughout Western Canada.
