Unifor Local 2002 is pleased to announce that our Local 2002 members employed at Cargo Airport Services, Canada (CAS) have ratified a new three-year agreement. Earlier today, a ratification and vote meeting was held and the tentative agreement recommended by the CAS Bargaining Committee was accepted by 90 percent of the CAS membership. The term of the agreement is for three years, expiring on December 31st, 2024.

“We are very pleased to have come to an agreement that provides significant wage and monetary improvements for our members, along with job security, and other improvements, said Tammy Moore, President of Local 2002.  As a result of the solidarity shown by our members, this new agreement recognizes the valuable services that our CAS members provide to the airlines. We’re in a strong position to build on these improvements in 2024”.

Our members at Cargo Airport Services Canada (formerly Worldwide Flight Services) perform cargo and warehouse work for various airlines at Toronto Pearson International and Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Worldwide Flight Services the parent company of CAS is one of the world’s leading providers of ground handling services, serving over 300 airlines at airports on five continents.

Thank you again for everyone’s participation in the vote and for continuing to support your bargaining team. When we stand together, we build a workplace that’s better for the entire Local.
